Whether you come for yourself or your animal companion, each session is held with intention, consent, and gentle attention. You do not need to know exactly what to expect. We can begin with a conversation and let the session unfold from there.

Settle into a comfortable place while I offer Reiki at our agreed time. Please provide a phone number so I can call when your 60-minute session begins. A face photo is helpful if you feel comfortable sharing; otherwise, your full first and last name is enough.

Your pet can rest in a familiar, comfortable place while I offer Reiki at our agreed time. Please provide a phone number for my call and a clear photo showing your pet’s whole body and eyes.

Please have a calm, quiet space with enough room for a massage table and for me to move around it. Outdoor sessions at the Northbound property and distance sessions have no travel fee.

Outdoor appointments depend on weather and comfort. If the day does not feel right for an outside session, we can reschedule or choose another format together.

Hi, I’m Matt. Reiki has become an important part of my spiritual path and the way I connect with people, animals, and the healing presence of nature.
As a Reiki Master Teacher, I bring a grounded and intuitive approach to each session. Northbound is my independent Reiki practice, created to offer a calm, respectful space for people and their animal companions.

Can I have Reiki outdoors?
Yes. Outdoor sessions at the Northbound property are available when weather and conditions feel comfortable. If plans need to change, we can reschedule or discuss another format.
How far do mobile sessions travel?
Mobile visits are available within 30 miles of Athens, Ohio, with a flat $20 travel fee added to the session price. The fee is confirmed before booking. Please have a calm, quiet space with enough room for a massage table and for me to move around it.
How are sessions with animals handled?
Your animal’s comfort leads the session. Their caregiver remains present, and the session can pause or end whenever the animal needs space.
What should I provide for a distance session?
Please provide a phone number so I can call at the agreed session time. For people, a face photo is helpful if you feel comfortable sharing; otherwise, your full first and last name is enough. For pets, please send a clear photo showing their whole body and eyes.
Does Reiki replace medical or veterinary care?
No. Reiki is a complementary spiritual energy practice. It does not diagnose or replace care from a licensed medical or veterinary professional.

Book outdoor, mobile, and distance Reiki sessions online through Square. For distance sessions, include the phone number where I can call at session time. People may send a face photo or share their full first and last name; pets need a clear photo showing their whole body and eyes.
Refund & rescheduling policy
Sessions are nonrefundable once purchased and booked. You may reschedule with at least 48 hours’ advance notice. Individual sessions expire 90 days after the purchase date.
